Q: I currently have little emerging market exposure and would like to move some surplus funds into that sector. The transaction would be in my USD non-registered account. I've been looking at a few ETFs and think that DEM:US would be a good pick as a start. Of course if you have other suggestions please include them with your response.
What should be the maximum allocation to an emerging market ETF given I am retired and this income stream would supplement my pension, LIF and RIF income.
Thank you.

- Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO)
- Vanguard Global Value Factor ETF (VVL)
- WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund (DEM)
Q: I am trying to find a good Emerging Markets Value ETF. I'm looking for something to compliment VWO which I already have. I see Pimco has an ETF PEIFX but I can't find much trading information on this one when I am on the Yahoo Canada site. Is there something similar that you might recommend ?
- BMO MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF (ZEM)
- WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend Fund (DGS)
- WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund (DEM)
Q: ZEM is my only emerging markets holding. It has done well recently. Nevertheless, I understand that the rise in commodity prices is what is pushing emerging markets higher. The top ten holdings in ZEM are large , well known corporations like Samsung. Only 7% of the holdings are in basic materials. Are there any emerging market ETFs that would help me to participate more in the commodity price reflation?
