It may only be a few days into 2018 but there has been no shortage of news. Crude oil rose to a two-year high, boosted by estimates that U.S. crude stockpiles fell for a seventh week. The S&P 500 breached the 2,700-mark for the first time, while the Nasdaq and the Dow hit records on a strong run in technology stocks. Marijuana stocks were up huge on Wednesday but quickly gave it all back the next day on news Attorney General Sessions is reversing an Obama-era rule that granted safe haven for marijuana companies and consumers in states where it is legal.
