Wall Street and Canada’s main stock index rose as tensions in Iran faded. Investors await the signing of the US-China trade deal next week. Oil rose slightly higher while gold fell. The Canadian dollar was 76.53 cents. U.S. S&P500 was up 1.8% today and TSX rose 1.2% today.
The most heavily traded shares by volume were Aurora, Encana, and Cenovus Energy.
